The new 9-story, 62-unit non-profit, independent living affordable seniors apartment will be located on vacant property adjacent to the Lions Douglas Heights Seniors Residence at 255 High Street in Fort Erie.

In March 1989, the corporation Lions Douglas Heights Seniors Residence Inc. was formed by the Fort Erie Lions Club for the purpose of building affordable seniors housing.
